Dinner at the castle was exceptional, with a warm ambiance and a fantastic view of Perugia. The buffet breakfast was a feast for the senses, featuring delicious homemade items that kept us coming back for more. Cozy atmosphere.
Although the atmosphere was magical, the lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room felt a little off, and the restaurant's ultra-modern vibe clashed with the castle's historical charm.

The historical ambiance of the castle was enchanting and truly unique.
The pillows were too thin and required stacking for comfort during sleep.

We spent three nights in a Superior Double Room with breathtaking views that you can't stop admiring. The sauna and pool were perfect spots to relax after a day of exploring, but our room was a bit snug, making it tricky to find space for our luggage. Bring your own coffee maker if that's your thing, and just soak in the unique charm! 🌄

Staying at Castello Di Monterone was a dream. The castle's beautifully restored stone walls complemented by timber-beamed ceilings and lovely furnishings created a warm ambiance. I especially appreciated the easily accessible garden paths for leisurely strolls and admiring the stunning views of Perugia.
Tea and coffee facilities were missing in the room.

Straight talk, worth it or not?
Impeccably restored, the castle exudes charm with breathtaking views and immaculate gardens! The staff is friendly, with attentive service, and the dining experience is exceptional, offering local specialties and a fabulous wine list.
While the setting is stunning, the hotel is a bit isolated, a 25-minute walk to the city and limited service outside meal hours might leave some guests wanting more convenience.

charming stay but somewhat noisy at night
The setting felt enchanting, as if we had traveled back in time. Each morning, the breathtaking views of the Old Town greeted us, bringing a sense of peace. Dinners at the restaurant highlighted exceptional flavors, making our culinary experience memorable.
However, the noise from nearby festivities made it difficult to sleep at times.
